[Your Own Personal Apocalypse, Dance Away Your Debt, Enough!] Royer is a poet, fiction writer, and crafter based in Connecticut. She was a Bucknell Younger Poet fellow, received an honorable mention from the Academy of American Poets Prize at Florida International University, and won high distinction in poetry from the writing department at Emerson College. Her poetry has appeared in Slipstream, Gulf Stream, Prairie Schooner, and Backwards City Review. Her short fiction has appeared in Quick Fiction, and in the anthology Brevity & Echo. A chapbook of her poems was published in 2004 by Slipstream Press entitled Radio Dreams. She also sells crafty stuff at www.threedogparty.com. She received a Master of Library Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a B.F.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. And when she is not engaged in any of the above activities, she is hanging out with her dog, who looks totally excellent in pearls.
